Sachin Played crickets for two decades not for Maharashtra alone but for whole of India. He earned laurels not just for Maharashtrians but for all the Indians. He is far more greater than Balasaheb because Shiv Sena leader is not an Indian, He is only a Maharashtraian. Whatever he does in Maharashtra he is not doing it for Maharashtrians but for himself, just to remain in power. Hope everyone in Maharashtra sees this and vote them out. It is deplorable that a handful of men had held Mumbai City to ransom for 60 hours, while the whole country watched helplessly. One year after the incident, we still are no better. Time will tell what lessons we learned in those 60 hours terrorists had seized Mumbai. They are holding Ajmal Kasab like a trophy. The least the public can do is to hold a memorialize those who died on that fateful day by holding a candle vigil at the time they had unleashed the reign of terror on hapless passengers at CST.   |   Report abuse

Terror suspect David Headley had made several trips to India. He might have been acquainted hundreds of people in several Indian cities during his stint, which includes Mumbai. The most pertinent question is why did Rahul's name featured prominently in his mails? Why did he refer Mumbai as Rahul's city? Why he was so keen in saying Hello only to Rahul? It means Rahul was someone special to him; he was his closest friend in India, especially Mumbai. Investigating agencies should not give Rahul a clean chit. Why take an oath in a language, which is Greek to some one?

Why take an oath in a language, which is Greek to someone? I hope Raj has a common sense to understand that more important thing is to take the oath in a language, which MLA understands. I think after the sordid incident we have witnessed at Maharashtra Government should pass a law that all should take oath in English, a language everybody understands. The law would put to rest all the controversies raised due to language issues.
