While we are doing well on almost all fields, we woefully fall below in agriculture. For example our percapita yield of paddy is around 3 tonnes per hectare for the country as a whole, where as the average yield is over 6 tonnes in Tanilnadu, a water starved state and in one district there where assured water supply is available for thr entire crop period they have shown that a yield of 15 tonnes is possible per hectare. It shows that it is possible to increase our production in food front about 400 percent.That means good income for the farmers ,less rates in the market and an economic growth in the double digit.   |   Report abuse

So you are asking the prices of food articles to remain the same when your salary is rising and you want the farmers to commit suicide? You are listing so many scams as if there is no scams in BJP rule. Whether it is BJP or Congress or any other scams will be there. It is amusing to note that supporters of BJP has no decency in their comments. Whether Congress wins or BJP wins they win because of the votes they got and that is it. the best option as of now is the rule by any of the two national parties, that is BJP or congress. I rather fancy the two to come forward to form a coalition government to ward off the evils of regional parties. Mudslinging will do no good.   |   Report abuse

All wishful thinking. Most of the allies deserted BJP, because of the fact they have lost precious secular votes. This is true in case of Telugu Desam and BJd. as for as Jeyalalitha is concerned she has no moral or ethical values and she will go with congress if Congress withdrew support to DMK in the assembly. It will happen only if she gets more seats than DMK.If Mamata gets more seats than CPM congress wont align with CPM and CPM in any case wont align with BJP.In such a scenario unless the BJP gets more than 200 seats of its own it can not form a government.   |   Report abuse
