SLRs are also more expensive with prices starting from around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 which are similar to the most expensive point-and-shoots digital cameras.

Additional lenses come with a starting price of Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 and many times that amount for superior lenses with advanced features.


A decent entry level SLR costs you not less than 35000 INR, nikon basic D-40 costs you about 35,000 Rs with basic lens.

Lenses are the most expensive part rediff says 5k to 10k.... please do a research Mr. editor.... lenses are expensive than the camera itself. A basic 55-200mm lens would cost you around 15k Rs. If you nedd more zoom then a 55-300 mm would cost you more than 45k INR.   |   Report abuse

WATER HARVESTING... if we don't start conserving now we will not be able to even excuse ourselves in near future.

BIG-BIG metro cities... with lots of population... rivers are getting polluted... only source is the water purifiers or underground water.

Every year I observe in my society that the tube wells are getting bored more deeper again and again... because the water table is decreasing. WHY???

Lot of industries and people with small businesses are pumping water with no limit... can we or the government stop them?

The govt. and we should start with proper and solid plans to conserve water so that we can increase the water table.
