Instead of waiting the bank to block the inactive card, we can be proactive and cancel the excess cards that we are not using. In fact, I was planning to do exactly that for the last few days.   |   Report abuse

They can't issue a card against your wish and you need not use (I know some people who simply cut it into 4 pieces and sent back to the bank. No need to use if you are not ready.   |   Report abuse

Sorry to differ with you. My experience has been quite good with ICICI. Even when there was a delay of a day or two, they did not charge any penalty. I think your overall credit rating is what they look at. They treat me with respect.   |   Report abuse
