I am paying EMIs for a home loan which is still under construction. I understand that I can claim deduction only after completion ? I want to know whether I will be able to get deduction on EMIs of principal portion also for the pre-construction period, after I get completion certificate ? or I will get deduction for interest portion only in 5 equated amounts of pre-construction interest.
For what reason the prepayments are done at 21, 33, 45, 57, 69 and 81 th months? I m trying to develop a custom solution for my needs.
Doesn't make sense for loans more than 20 lakh. it will be more beneficial to reduce the tenure and pay extra emi
