What does cng means? how costly is that compare to lpg?

I am willing to buy a car in the range of 3 to 4 lacs, My daily journey is about 25 kms and i have a family of 4 adults and one child 10 years old

I want to convert my new maruti alto in CNG. so it is advisable to convert petrol car into CNG???
